Measuring a mere 12 by 12 inches, the turntable comes with a full array of features yet stores conveniently inside the average record crate for simple and efficient transport. The size, however, is just window dressing compared to the unit's DJ functions. The PT01's belt-driven motor operates at speeds of 33-1/3, 45, and 78 rpm, giving users access to everything from modern LPs to classic singles to old-school jazz and blues discs. DJs will also appreciate the +/- 10 percent pitch control, along with the tone and volume controls. And monitoring is simple thanks to the built-in phono preamp, accompanying speaker, and dual 1/4- and 1/8-inch headphone jacks. Other features include a durable auto-start and -stop tonearm, a high-quality felt slipmat for scratching, an integrated carrying handle, and a removable dustcover with a locking slide latch.
